Jenny Oh, Ph.D.
Bucknell University Freeman College of Management

I’m Jenny Oh, currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in Management & Organizations at Bucknell University, Freeman College of Management. I received my Ph.D. in the Organizational Behavior and Theory Department at the Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business.
I study how gender and racial inequality is shaped by demographic context within organizations, particularly through the lens of proportional representation and group composition. I utilize mixed-methods, including archival, field, and experiment data, to investigate the interplay between individual behaviors and group-level structures, highlighting how these dynamics shape perceptions, norms, and outcomes related to voice, status, and evaluations of diversity progress.
I received my B.S. and M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. I grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey, and currently live in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
